In general, your hair will grow faster if you take
care of your body as a whole. For starters, try to eat a healthy diet that is
rich in leafy green vegetables and lean protein. Because hair is made of
protein, eating foods like eggs, fish, nuts and lean meats can help enrich your
hair and stimulate its growth. It is important not to eat excessive amounts,
however. Allocating about 15 percent of your diet to proteins should be
sufficient to promote healthy hair growth.

Consuming 8 to 10 glasses of water each day keeps
your hair healthy and hydrated and also promotes overall healthiness.
Conversely, alcohol and drugs tend to reverse this effect, slowing down hair
growth.
Exercise is also an effective way of stimulating
quicker hair growth. Regular cardiovascular workouts help your blood flow
throughout your body, allowing more nutrients to reach your hair follicles via
the bloodstream.
Poor blood flow will negatively affect the growth
of your hair, making it more dull and brittle. Exercise can also help you
better manage stress, which has been proven to contribute to hair loss.
